US HERO's Associate Units
An Associate Unit of US Hero is another organization that seeks to help others in times of emergency, but typically doesn't have the resources required to train and certify their own people on their own and has other purposes beside emergency services. An "Associate Unit" could be:
- An existing volunteer emergency services unit
- A church/religious group
- A civic organization (Lions Club, Rotary Club, VFW, etc.)
- An Explorer Post or Venture Crew
- A school group
- Note: US HERO does not associate with groups that seek to deny the constitutional rights of others, are defined by the Attorney General as being terroristic or subversive, or are racist. As a private organization, US HERO reserves the right of association with groups and individuals who share our values of inclusiveness and benevolent citizenship.
